19. Promotion

The next section is Promotion.

Afri54 allows you to run advertisements across its platform to increase the visibility of your business. Setting up an advert is simple—click here to learn more.

When you click on Promotion, you will see two sub-sections:

  • Create Ad
  • Manage Ads

Create Ad allows you to set up new advertising campaigns.

Manage Ads enables you to monitor, edit, pause, or review your existing adverts.

Ad Placement

Once your advert is active, it will be displayed across multiple areas of the Afri54 platform, including:

  • The homepage as a Sponsored Ad
  • Product categories and market pages when users browse related items
  • Digital Business Cards (DBC) and Afri Stores of all free users
  • Market Day programs
  • Pricing and Controls

Afri54 advertising is charged at $0.50 per day.

You can target your advert across the entire African continent, a single country, or multiple countries (up to 20).

You have full control to pause or resume your advert at any time.

20. Market Day

The next section is Market Day.

Market Day is a rotating promotional event where selected markets across Africa are given exclusive visibility on the Afri54 platform for a 24-hour period. During this time, the spotlight is on these markets to promote their vendors, share their stories, and connect with potential buyers and business partners across the continent.

How It Works

  • Afri54 selects a group of markets to be featured each day.
  • Each selected market receives 24 hours of exclusive exposure on the platform and across Afri54’s marketing channels.
  • Vendors within the featured market can showcase their products, services, and special offers through their Digital Business Cards, Afri Stores, and the Afri54 Business Hub.
  • After 24 hours, a new set of markets is featured, ensuring fair and continuous visibility across Africa.

Available Options

When you click on Market Day, you will see the following sub-sections:

  • Public Feed
  • Create Post
  • My Posts

Public Feed

This is the live section where you can view posts from other vendors, share updates, interact through likes and comments, and even make purchases during Market Day.

Create Post

This section allows you to create and publish your own posts for Market Day.

My Posts

Here, you can view and manage all the posts you have created.

Important Notes

  • If you click on Public Feed and do not see any active posts, it means Market Day is not active at that time.
  • If you are unable to create a post, it means it is not your market’s scheduled turn to participate.

Market Day is completely free to use, making it a powerful opportunity for businesses to gain visibility and attract new customers across Africa.

21. Transactions

The next section is Transactions.

When you click on the Transactions button, you will find two sub-sections:

  • NFC
  • Plan

NFC

Currently, NFC-related services have been temporarily deactivated until further notice.

Plan

When you click on Plan, you will be able to view the complete history of your transactions. This includes all payments made, along with detailed invoices and corresponding dates for each transaction.

22. MediaBoost

The next section is MediaBoost.

Afri54 MediaBoost is an optional add-on service designed to give your business additional visibility by promoting your brand on trusted and popular media platforms. These include established TV stations, national newspapers, blogs, and social media pages where large audiences are already engaged.

With MediaBoost, your business can be featured directly on these platforms, helping you reach thousands—and in some cases, millions—of potential customers. In many cases, these promotional posts remain permanently on the respective platforms.

How It Works

  • Click on MediaBoost.
  • Select your country.
  • The system will display a list of available media platforms (updated regularly).
  • Review the details of each offer, including pricing and duration.
  • Once satisfied, click the Order button.
  • If your wallet is sufficiently funded, the order will be processed successfully, if not you can add funds to your wallet

You can then submit the required materials or information for your promotion to Afri54.

Important Note

Afri54 acts strictly as an intermediary between you and the media platforms.
